Net Metering Systems

Net metering systems are grid tie systems that allow residential and commercial customers who generate their own electricity from solar power to feed surplus electricity into the grid. Any excess solar power that you generate is exported to the electricity grid and you usually get paid a feed-in-tariff (FIT) or credits for the energy you export.
